Account registration data (email or third-party login ID), profile (nickname, avatar, genre preferences), payment metadata (transaction reference only — no full payment credentials), and content you create or upload (characters, stories, comments).
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device model, operating system, app version, IP address, access logs, cookies and local storage, crash and performance data — used for security, fraud prevention and product improvement.
1.3 AI Conversation Data
Messages you exchange with AI characters or DMs are temporarily cached to maintain memory and stored encrypted in the cloud per your settings.
2. How We Use Information
- Deliver and maintain the service: account identification, personalisation, story memory, cross-device sync.
- Billing and fraud prevention: subscription validation, dispute handling, anomaly detection.
- Safety and compliance: abuse monitoring, child protection, illegal content detection.
- Product improvement: aggregated analytics, A/B tests, error diagnostics (not individually identifying).
5. Data Security
All traffic is protected with TLS 1.2+. Storage is tiered: passwords are one-way hashed, conversations are encrypted with key hierarchies, and payment data lives with compliant processors. Our 24/7 SecOps centre watches for anomalies. While we cannot guarantee absolute security, you can further protect yourself with two-factor authentication and by avoiding shared devices.
6. Your Rights
- Access and correct your data in Settings → Profile.
- Export everything as JSON in Settings → Data Center.
- Permanently delete your account and data (irreversible).
- Withdraw permissions previously granted to third-party apps.
7. Protection of Minors
MissAI is not intended for children under 13. Users 13 and older must use the service with guardian consent; parental controls limit genres, daily time and hide adult content.
8. Cross-Border Transfers
Data may be transferred across borders to operational nodes under compliant safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) so your protections travel with you.
9. Retention & Deletion
We keep data only as long as necessary to deliver the service. After account deletion, personally identifiable data is anonymised or removed within 30 days; aggregated statistics may be retained for product analytics.
10. Updates to this Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect product or regulatory changes. Material updates will be announced 7 days in advance via in-app notice and email. Continued use means acceptance of the updated policy.
